Baseball
The Warriors have provided the youth of our community the opportunity to play baseball for over 35 years. The Warriors are one of eight members of the Arapahoe Youth League (AYL) and serve the youth in Northern Douglas County. The Warriors baseball program offers multiple levels of play. These levels and their descriptions are below:
Competitive
Level
|
A highly competitive level of play whereplayers are placed on teams by tryout selections only. Teams play a league schedule of approximately 14 to 18 games played on Monday through Thursday evenings leaving weekends available for tournament play. This level is split into the Majors and AAA divisions.

Majors
|
The highest level of play at the Competitive level. Teams are placed at this level according to previous season standings and a possible team placement tournament by the AYL.

AAA
|
The lower level of play at the Competitive Level. Teams are placed at this level according to previous season standings and a possible team placement tournament by the AYL.
|
AA Continental
|
The AA Continental division is designed for the competitive team that is not quite ready to play with the top Majors or AAA teams, however they want to play games Monday - Friday leaving the weekends open to tournaments. This level of play is only being offered to the 11, 12 and 13 year old age groups at this time.

AA
|
An advanced recreational level of play. This level consists of teams with an exceptional skill level. Please see the Registration Cover Letter for team placement at this level.

A
|
An intermediate recreational level of play. This level consists of players/teams with an above average skill level. First time players are accepted in this level.

The Warriors Competitive baseball teams play approximately 18 games over and 11 week season beginning in early April and running thru June. The Recreational season runs from February through mid June. Playoff games will begin after the regular 14 league games have been completed (weather permitting) and will conclude with the World Series being played in mid July.
